t that I am aware of? At least I’ve never seen any RHD versions of them here at all
. Most town/city postal vehicles I’ve seen Canada Post use (at least here in Nova Scotia)
are the old
Grumman LLV
s (which are being phased out due to age) or the newer first-gen and second-gen
Ford Transit Connect. In rural areas here delivery work is contracted out to individuals and they drive whatever their usual car is....in the case of our current postal worker, it’s a a normal black
Chevy Silverado pickup from 2-3 generations ago
. Contracted worker
s are given magnetic signs and flashing lights they can just put on and take off their cars when they are working or not.
I THINK I remember reading that contracted workers are given some sort of bonus or allowance or some such if they wish to import a RHD car to use on their routes...you occasionally see JDM vehicles with the magnetic Canada Post sign on the roof. If they do choose to go that route, they usually import something easy to get parts for that is fairly capable in all four seasons, like an AWD older Honda CRV or the like (one of the local postal workers has an imported one of those). Another local postal worker uses an older
JDM-import Toyota Hilux Surf, which was sold as the Toyota 4-Runner here.

So I just Texted my Rural Mail Carrier Cousin and asked apparently Jeep stopped making RHD Wranglers for mail carriers in 2018, he said a lot of carriers where he lives in Michigan are buying RHD imported 25 year old Toyota Land Cruiser or Hilux Surf, he said you can generally
get one for less than $20k.
